I'm new to credit repair and while waiting for DH and my CRs I've been doing a lot of research, studying, and organizing myself. Here's my question: DH has an old loan (past-due since 1997) that has been passed from CA to CA (probably 4 or 5). Will it be listed on his CR more than once, by the OC and more than one CA?

Thanks for your help. This forum is great!!

OC and the one CA that currently has it. Dispute them all. That debt is OLD.

Thanks for the reply, Breeze. I certainly will dispute them when I receive the CRs. I just wasn't sure if the old CA TLs drop off when the new CA reports the collection.

No they routinely try to keep them all on there, in order to do as much damage to your credit as possible.

No kidding? Isn't that special? It looks like I've got a lot to learn and my work cut out for me.

Thanks, again, Breeze!
