Any recomendations to QUICKLY fix incorrect reporting?

Hi,

I have a few SL TL's that were consolidated 08/05 and they are still reporting as open/ 120 past due.

I sent a letter to Chela a month ago, but with Nelnet taking them over it may have gotten lost in the shuffle. I am willing to live with the lates since I was in fact late, but it is really dropping my scores to have them currently reporting past due. My wife needs a new van, and these trade lines mean the difference between getting the special sub-vented rates or not.

It is not reporting incorrectly. If at one point you were 120 late, even closed it will continue to report the status. Simply put, it was not paid as agreed. The balance will be zeroed out which creditors can read as closed and paid.

That is what I am willing to live with. It is not, however, what is reporting. They are reporting as I said. Open with a balance and currently 120 past due.

Arghh..... This is driving me crazy. I'm on hold with Chela and have been for 30 mins. This is why I tried a letter, but that didn't work.
