Okay I have been dealing with these morons for some time now. They reported on like 7 different lines 120+ days late on all 3 credit reports. Since I have finally had them back date a forbearance and was told my credit report would be fixed OVER THE PHONE. They have since updated transunion and equifax but not experian which is the only report I need to fix from student loans. Should I ask nelent to reupdate my experian file, maybe send them a letter, or should I dispute through experian? My fear is the if I dispute, the nelnet morons might possibly say no way we never said we would fix your report and re-report to transunion and equifax and then all 3 of my files would be in a mess.

How should I go about this? I dont want the other 2 reports messed with again but I do want my report corrected. Any advice? If I dispute through experian, should I mail them something or do it online? THANKS for any help in dealing with this weird company.

Retroactve forebearances are NOT suppose to result in credit reports being updated. Lates are lates, and applying late for a forebearance or deferment is not suppose to result in lates being dropped. Disputing could end up with all of the lates being reactivated.

Well I guess I should have stated that I allready had a forbearance filed with them. I did this 2 different times and they kept not processing it for whatever reason. That is the reason they told me they would update my credit reports cause they kept messing up my requests and not processing them. So it was NOT my fault. I just dont know what I should do now.
