Ive asked for validation for a med. collection. Recieved a little note. Nothing validation letter asked for. Called my Doctor who is / listed with this care group as original creditors they said they do not have any of the bills the caregroup split with them and took every computer with all billing. I called the care group person said the doctor gave the collector the bills called the doctor back and the said not true.making a long boring story short, I asked my doctor for a letter stating this I know have this letter. Meanwhile I sent the medical dispute letter to the CRA Ive got my green cards back. However the collection has now added dw to mine report and added me to her report listing her as my co-signer. Today I got another letter from the collector saying sinse I failed to dispute(not true) bla bla bla But they have these two bills added together $318 and $364 it looks like an entirely new collection. I had been paying these bills until 03 when I no longer received any paying tickets but that is the year the collector and doctor split the doctors office just told me. I just want validation so I can pay with the hippa letter. I am new I jumped in about JAn 06. I realize you better know what your doing. I appreciate all the help and support.

PLEASE TELL ME NEXT STEP. DO I SEND ANOTHER VALIDATION LETTER because these two bills are now added together it is like they are making it look like wifes bill, my bill Then my wifes and my bill

are one bill. then single bill it is like they are trying to drive me crazy. I don't know if it makes any difference but they didnt do anything until I sent thefirst letter with anoffer to pay for deletion I guess I stired up a hornets nest and Im really getting stung by a swarm of angry hornets. I am replying to your post because you "paged" me.

I do not know what you have done or not done as your post indicated a very "mixed bag" of DV's and "medical dispute letters" sent CMRR, ( waiting for green card??).

 

I suggest you wait a while for things to settle down, opt out, get old addresses deleted if possible, then start OVER, doing it according to directions.

 

If you want to send DV's then do NOT try to use the "medical dispute letter" which is part of the HIPAA letter proccess. If you want to send the medical dispute letter, send it according to the directions.
