Just went from 150.00 to 10,400.00 limit on my Dillards Card. I have had it for 4 months now. I am really hoping they upgrade me to AMEX now. wink.gif

Now I am curious,

Has anyone been upgraded to Dillard's AMEX yet?

This deal was just done and I am sure they are doing the upgrades in stages with existing cardholders for now. You know what I mean, on a certain date so many accounts will roll to dillards amex, then the next week another batch if all goes well with the initial.

I am so pleased to be informing you that you have won the lottery in the republic of Ass-wenistan. You won a great abundance and magnitude of money. All I need to transact this transaction is small processing fee to be required; Simply cash this check a portion of your winnings and pay the fee, then I will effect payment swiftly!

I don't know if I'm reading the post's correctly, but it sounds like they just upgrade existing cardholders without the cardholder contacting them asking for an upgrade?

Am I off base in that thinking and you have to ask them for the upgrade?

they, in the past, send you a letter and if you do not respond to it , then they automatically convert it. I think they may use a combination of internal scores and possible cbr although I am not sure if they pull during an upgrade.
As with Jcpenney, they didn't convert everybody and I don't think it matters if you call or not. It is not upon request right now. I'm sure it will be down the road, but this is very new.

No,I did the CLI button on the regular store card to 10400.00 before I called about the AMEX. If you are not sure what I am talking about, there is a monster Dillards CLI thread.

Wow!!! It's the CLI Luv button gone wild again. My SO's account just went from 6K to 15K! The first time the Luv button was turned on SO's account went from 1200 dollars to 6K.

Well I have to say that GEMB has been darn good to both my SO and myself.

Hmm, JCPenney went from 1500 to 3K with on push of the Luv button then the second and third try it says having trouble retrieving the account information. Oh well still not bad.
