Silly question. Are the US Department of Edu Afsa and the US Department of Education the same lender?? I have both on my CR. Although they have different addresses I wasn't quite sure. If they aren't does anyone have any contact info for US Department of Edu Afsa? I don't have a telephone number for them. Thanks.

AFSA was a FFELP lender. It is now https://www.acs-education.com/, at least according to the google search I just did. Still a FFELP lender. Sounds like you have more than one type of loan or you have a very old loan that was subrogated by the DOE.
