hey thanks mark ill try that or maybe fax it in.

Thats a nice little trick that doesn't usually work but could. But you are still PG'ing the account and they dont need your social to pull your credit.

Yes! A few still are playing ball. Its enough to get by right now. If anybody know anymore to pad the pile so to speak that would be sweet. Brndnh721 you got any mew ones you ran across? Just as a side note I went to fed ex office to get some letter heads done today for a corp im working on . They wouldn't let me get it in on my commercial account. I had to pay cash. Little stuff like that makes it hard. That was a free trade....lol

For Citi I believe you have to have a paydex for at least 6 months now. Thats what I was told sometime back earlier this year when I applied for Office Depot and was declined. It makes sense because if you look at your DnBi report you see boxes that have a 3 month and 6 month paydex score. Then if you dont have that, citi will look at your experian file. I think the key is knowing what the vendors are requiring for approval. You can still be a relatively new business but dont expect to get credit walking through the door. I wouldnt doubt if the vendors, dnb, experian were all disquised as members of this forum here on creditboards. Im just sayin......

how do they pull your credit with out your ssn.. the only way i can see that happening is if you pu down your driver license or you home address. but if you put your business address like i rent a office, which is spearate from my home address. i would they run my credit.

thanks

Your name , DOB and address any two will do. If they are asking for your personal address that is what your suppose to be putting down not your business address. Its really the same for your social but some will say that using your Tax Id is fine aslong as the business is connected to you and your majority owner. Still places dont like to see that and it could get you flagged as a fraud risk even though supposely itsn't not fraud.

I have mentioned them before but HD Supply is fairly easy to get. They have different departments but the facilities maintenance dept. is the way to go they have alot of misc. items.
When you apply they will call and ask a couple simple questions. Just keep your requested amount low around $500 if your file doesn't contain much and you should be all set.

Just an update. If you are trying to get credit especially a gas card with an industry code of trucking cancel christmas. It seems to be it a industry standard now to go with the debit from bank account relationship. Trucking business is doing bad right now. Just fyi...

Read some more of his past posting's along with the other threads on here about building business credit. Only true known way of understanding how the game is played. I would assume if you're here you want to win this game Yea or Nea?
