Any new secured business cards?

Hey Milesb did you try CSI I contacted them back in May or was it April that was like my first CB post was trying to find secured credit card when I found them I posted it to CB, anyway they offer a secured credit card with a deposit account I believe upto $5000 but they only report every 3 months or something like that. I didn't know Capitol One had a secured card what's the parameters of that program ? Oh yea if you want here is the url to CSI MasterCard Hope this helps but please reply back about the Capitol One Card I would like to hear more about it. Thanks

Hi everyone I applied for a Shell Gas Card yesterday "as we all know they are underwritten by Citi Bank "I was told that I needed to PG because I didn't meet their credit guidelines for a No PG account, they pulled DnB & Experian. So I am looking to add more lines to my Experian file since I already have an 80 PayDex. I know it had to be my Experian file that was lacking because it is thin, super thin. Any suggestions on where to go to add Experian lines I need like 5 of them :) So please any help you can give would be very appreciated thanks.

P.S.
I am not picky about limit I just need them to report to Experian

From what I understand they pull either or because some vendors may report to either or. Meaning that if you have done business with vendors who only report to DnB, you wont have an experian file and vice versa. Some vendors report to both DnB and experian. So in my opinion, its not mandatory for citibank to pull both but they would like to see whats on both files in case one file "outweighs" the other. Prime example. A friend of mine was approved thru tmobile while having nothing at all on DnB (no trades) but he had 3 trades on experian and thats what he was approved from.

For 3 years i have had a shell and office Depot card..last year they both cut my limits from %6,000 to $1500, because of an "Experian" report. i checked Experian and they had a lot of wrong info re my name, # of employees, etc.. i cleared it up.
Now should I call Shell, O D and ask them to raise the limits again?
i just hate wasting inquiries,,that is why i have not asked for CLIs for over 2 years

I appplied online to Wright Express on last Friday and was approved yesterday without including PG information and nothing reporting on D&B.
It is possible to get approved without a PG with Wright Express.

Good Luck! <_<

<_< You are so right One Byte Inc I went online to wright express and applied for an account on a Friday and by the following Tuesday I was approved my limit is $1,200 without a PG thanks for the info

I am a small business consultant that helps business owners obtain access to capital to start and/or grow their business. I believe from reading other post that texaco/chevron and wright express may be pretty easy to obtain for newer companies. You may want to also try citgo. Last I checked they offer a net account for fuel purchases. They also have a secured account that can become eligible to become unsecured after 6 months or so. You may not be ready for the BP Mastercard which is a net account as well but be aware that they have a $10 monthly maintenance fee. Hope this helps...

I honestly think its possible that alot of these companies who claim they no longer report are telling this to people to see if you are serious about buying their products and not just using them to report. Its like they are weeding out the people who are "one and done" meaning you buy something from them on clearance for $5, pay a total of $12 with shipping and it shows up on your report as $50 and then your done purchasing from them. So now they maybe telling people that they no longer report or you have to spend a certain amount before they report to see if you are a serious "long term" buyer. Just my 2 cents.

i think that u are so right!

To be honest Cleanmaster for the part where it asked for the owner's SS# I used my tax id to fill in those fields, they also had asked for my tax id on the app. before they asked for my SS# so I'm sure they saw that but yes, that's how I did it.
