Yes all the people on here sign up to report to DNB and we make are own network. not only would we help each other but,any new menbers. just my two cents..
[/quote]
I mentioned this once before but there were naysayers here saying that it couldnt be done. Im in the "process" of being able to report now. I think its a great idea if serious minded people got together to create an "intranet" of companies that report and give people what they want which is companies that report. Its not as easy as it was 3 yrs ago when all you had to do was be a "breathing" business to get credit. Now credit has dried up and companies that reported in the past have gone into hiding.

That is a great idea about the network. Let me tell you dnb has a vendor criteria for reporting accounts for other companies. I think the criteria is that you be in their system for 1 Year and have a clean file. Rl

What do you have reporting right now? If you have your paydex as far as a gas card try for sunoco fleet card which goes through wright express and can be used at just about every gas station, or try for the chevron/Texaco card. Financials will definitely help in the long run but you should be able to get those two gas cards now.

If you just received ur Paydex, I would say go with Crown Fleet Card (which is also services by Wright Express, accepted @ almost all gas stations), as well as Chevron/Texaco.
-These both are due in full at month's end.
I think Shell Fleet and Exxon Fleet are revolving(I have yet to have luck with either of these two vendors)
As far as Staples, from my experience they are "weird" with their credit. You may be better off trying Office Depot.
What ever you chose, try your best to do the application in-store.
I had 4 tradelines reporting when I was approved for Chevron and Office Depot about 2 months back.

I called Staples today, and I still can't get approval. Next time i'll try in-store.

i know what you are thinking...i am lazy and should just search on who is offering non pg cards, but a lot of the information is outdated....hell a card that you could have gotten 3 months ago with no pg might now require one.
so with that being said....who has applied for credit in 2010 & received it without a pg?
it seems like the pickings are getting smaller and smaller.....i think many of the gas cards are now requiring them..same with staples and key bank now requires you to pg....but there have to be some out there still.
does walmart still offer a store card with no pg?
looks like sams still offers a non pg discover card and store card.....but being they are issued by GE they are hard to get (at least for me....my only GE card is lowes)
i remb the days that HD use to have a MC....but that is no more
so..can we start a 2010 list of non pg cards and links to their apps (if possible)
thanks....hope everyone's biz is picking up....know for us april and may were months from hell.....and i'm thinking the worst is behind us
Molly thank you for coming up with this idea for a 2010 sticky this is the thread and people like you are the very reason I joined Credit Boards I will contribute as much as I can to this thread because you are very correct a lot of the information is out dated and a make over is much needed thanks for coming up with this thread way to go!

Thanks i got approved but they want a debit from my bank account. If it is only gas that makes it not worth it. I would rather go get another experian trade from gboogie.
Hey Milesb that description of the wright express wasn't entirely accurate to shed some light on the matter the wright express is a universal fleet card which can be used for purchasing everything from transmission work at a suppliers center to purchasing a car wash to buying a bottle of water on a hot day at the fueling station while you fill up. The wright express universal fleet card does it all for a list of more vendors Click Here
I just applied for my wright express card on Friday and got a call from them today saying I was approved, I don't know the limit yet as that will come with the cards but I can say it's a net 28 not a direct debit.
Also they report to Duns & Bradstreet plus Experian so you might want to keep this account and pick up some more experian trades from gboogie.
Either way good luck and congrats on the approval
