I have a small student loan, less the 200, that I had put into forbearance until next year right before I filed BK. I should be discharged in early October. This is currently being reported as not in repayment with the last entry showing 90 days late. If I contacted them and had the forbearance removed and started making payments would this be the best I could do for my credit reports? If I paid on it without removing the forebearance, would it even show as a payment on my reports? I have read that it is next to impossible to get the lates removed from a student loan without going into loan rehab, which I do not qualify for. Thanks

I don't think that you can make payments on the loan until your BK has been discharged. If you did, that would create problems you don't want to deal with.

Just wait it out and then once the BK has been discharged you can make payments.
