Because many local CU are restrictive they don’t get discussed here on what is a national type forum but your right they can be a great resource.

As to the oddballs don’t forget about Umbrella Bank ….

Yes, it's one of the several hundred affinity cards that MNBA issues. MBNA is well known for teaming with small banks/credit unions to extend co-branded credit.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

...and some large banks, too...SunTrust (a big bank here in FL) offers a SunTrust Visa with WorldPoints that is issued and administered by MBNA.

Just to be certain here. My SO's EX CR has no baddies except for a 7 yr old BK7, three INQ's and our HH income almost 100k and SO's FICO is above 700, do we go for it?

ETA does it matter we are in AL?

5 years post BK is the key.

I don't think geography matters, but YMMV; you could call and ask.

APR is not too bad.

who cares if they are fast growing; does not mean they are not odd. By oddball I mean not the median card held by the consumer; i.e., regional banks, CUs, savings banks, etc.

Well we went thru and did the application all the way up to the submit and there was no AU that I saw but it could be done as a joint, only I want to be an AU not joint. Thanks Heg.
