It's a board for mortgage pros to exchange ideas and information - they kinda chase the consumers away, LOL, cause they just want to talk to each other - one of the reasons our mortgage board has become so successful.

 

We have to keep the solicitations off the board, or that is all you would see when you come here, and the consumers would go somewhere else - it's one of the things that contributes to our success, IMO. When someone shows up and their very first post is a solicitation, one can safely assume they are making the rounds of all the boards, just wanting to get free ads. I guess if we were a commercial site we could sell ad space, but then, I doubt these guys would buy it, they're looking for free advertising so it probably wouldn't do all that well. Also, we believe our success is due to our committment to consumers.

 

We want you guys here, and we don't mind anyone getting business, but it's kind of a win-win situation for all of us when the brokers help the consumers, and the consumers can pick and choose whom they want to do business with.
