I wonder how soon federal will get my money? I did have it down as dd, so I wonder if the check will go to them in the same time frame. Guess I could always call and find out.
It would just be nice the sooner the better plus it would get my CRA updated and cleared up.

It does not matter when one filed as long as it was done by April 15. What matters is the last 2 digits of your SS# and whether or not you did direct deposit.

EX, TU, and EQ, frozen until.............further notice

We didn't get anything either our lst is 20. I'm concerned because we didn't get a letter.
I was listening to the stimulus information on the phone with the IRS and it says we should recieve a letter a week before we get the money. Has everyone gotton a letter?? cause we didn't

Talked to IRS yesterday about DS & they said letter or no letter, didn't matter. If you're eligible, you'll get it.
A letter was no guarantee that you'd receive it either. In case they decide to snag the rebate between the letter & the dd.
08 & still nothing today.

QUOTE(cindyl @ Apr 29 2008, 06:44 PM) We didn't get anything either our lst is 20. I'm concerned because we didn't get a letter. What I believe that they are referring to is a letter telling you that the stimulus payments are coming (I received one of these a month or so ago) and that it was an 'important IRS document' and to keep it for your records. It was sort of a reminder to let you know to look out for it after tax season is over, if you are 'eligible'.

It looks like the IRS backpedaled a bit. This is from thier website with a date of April 28th.
IR-2008-66, April 28, 2008
Direct Deposit Payments If the last two digits of your Social Security number are: Your economic stimulus payment deposit should be transmitted to your bank account by: 00 – 20 May 2 21 – 75 May 9 76 – 99 May 16 Paper Check If the last two digits of your Social Security number are: Your check should be in the mail by: 00 – 09 May 16 10 – 18 May 23 19 – 25 May 30 26 – 38 June 6 39 – 51 June 13 52 – 63 June 20 64 – 75 June 27 76 – 87 July 4 88 – 99 July 11

uh-oh ... I'm broke .... does this mean I'm going back to the milk crate and cable wheel furniture?

It's always said that on their website, though, even since mid March. Thats the problem. They moved it up, but they haven't updated their schedule or indicated if it was just the first weeks deposits that got moved up, or all of them, or if all the DD's would be done in a week-the language going to papers and news sources seems to say one thing, and the website says what it always has said.

I know it has said that, however, it looks now like this was refreshed on April 28th. I guess though we might not figure out what they are really doing till they do it ...... as usual with our dear government.

I think its just their way to drive you all crazy! LOL
I am an 04 of course because I owe taxes they will keep it but I will be curious to how soon that check is applied to my taxes. It would suck if it took months and months to apply it, and I get hit with the interest.

That IS crazy, mine is 54, my wife's is 28. If it was primary TP or individually in either case ours would have come later, but someone with an 84 got theirs? Are you/they sure its not their regular refund?
Just asking-cause this IS weird.
