Hey, everyone, you won't believe what just happened. A "serial bully" was apparently permanently expelled from her middle school in Florida as well as other public schools after she gave a brutal beating to another girl. Even though she can't go back to that school, she's allowed to go to another school.

I wonder what they'll say if someone dies some day because she kicked them in the head - I saw that video. BS bureaucracy - no common sense.

The judge got it right, and the school superintendent disagreed? And got an appellate judge to overturn the decision? A matched pair of salamanders.

If my kids were in that school, they would be staying home, and I would be filing suit against the school district for failure to maintain a "safe and secure...system of free public schools".

I agree mk_378. Across from League City Elementary School where I went to for only my first grade year, there is place sort of like that. Almost every day when I went outside, I saw mainly older boys walking outside the place.

The thing that has always confused me is how criminal assault is acceptable on school grounds, while it will get you sent to prison anywhere else.......... but farting in a class room? That they will lock you up for. Especially in Florida.

Back in second grade, I unknowingly farted in my classroom, but my teacher just scolded me and I had to apologize to the whole classroom. It felt disgraceful and embarrassing.

By the way, Echo_X, why would they lock someone up for farting in a classroom?

What are you supposed to do? Intestinal gas is a normal thing. If people giggle so what? I guess Crohn's and IBS patients would be permanently suspended.

I didn't say it made sense. In each case it was claimed that the student was interrupting the learning process by farting. Apparently you can arrest someone for doing anything that interrupts learning. It's something to do with that initiative to increase education quality.. "No child with a behind" or something..

Sigh. I wonder what schools would be like if by law the federals had to match public education spending to what is spent on weapons development. We could probably hire nasa scientists to teach science for what DERPA spent on vtol aircraft and developing metal storm platforms.....but talking about how much money is spent on what leans into a certain red zone so I shall digress.

"Interupting the learning process"... It's happened two or three times that I am aware of..

That's a result of a teacher not being creative enough. The teacher could have used that to begin a discussion of the digestive process, how intestinal gas is created, the chemical makeup of various foods and the resultant volume, violence and degree of odor associated with those foods...and the subject matter would have been introduced in a way that had the attention of all of the students.

I taught 8th grade English way back in the olden days. 8th grade boys like to fart in class and then look to see if the lady teacher gets upset. I usually just asked someone to open a window. They snickered for a few minutes, but it just wasn't much fun if the teacher didn't turn red and get mad. Back then we didn't have t shirts that said "I pooped today" - like it was some big accomplishment.

"I pooped today"?... You could atleast be clever and say "You have more poop in your body than you have brains".....which while sounding like an insult, is factually true..

Well, I was really referring to an actual T shirt that is on sale in stores, and the fact that we were a little more proper back then - in the olden days, y'know.

Hey, everyone. I think I told you all that sometimes even adults get bullied by kids.

Well get this: today in Utah, a 17-year-old soccer goalie named Ricardo was arrested for punching out a referee after he got caught shoving a player from the opposing team. The punch was very fatal that the referee died soon afterwards.

I'm doing this just to make sure I don't get sued for plagiarism.

Doesn't seem to be working out too well for you.

Sorry, guys, but I also joined another forum called GeneralForums. One of their rules said that for any news article I did not write, I should add sources and quote anything I wrote directly from that article, unless I'm paraphrasing. Don't worry though, I'm through going crazy.

I know how to handle things around Creditboards, but I had been under stress trying to understand the rules of GeneralForums since yesterday.

I now understand their rules and I apologize for my actions.
