ouch. AL C* from 76 to 18. Think I have been bested and will hang it up. Only have 5 anyway and its not really worth it anymore for me personally with the ability to only do 3 pullers due to my circumstances.

C* in AZ today. DW and I had only just started so we didn't lose out too badly. We're sticking with it over the next month or so to see how it all turns out! :good:

i pulled my report @ 3:01am and confirmed i just got c*..so now im down to 31 hards from 45 in a few days lol...u can tell i got "popped" cause i had more true credit pulls and now they are gone lol

Okay.... apparently DH is just the exception to every rule. Same guy who got denied by NFCU and approved for Amex BCP... we both got double C* last month on the exact same dates, so absolute confirmation that we were both on C* block due to same habits - myFICO, EQ backdoor, online disputing, etc.

 

This morning I'm doing our pulls - his first. Once I get to MPM I realize there are fewer hards than yesterday, though I didn't expect to be able to B* on the day C* showed up. I refresh EC to look at his softs and... HE WAS NOT CHOPPED!!! In fact, he's still bumping away!!! Wait, does this mean I was wrong about GA choppage being on the 2nd day? Do I have an extra day of reprieve? I do my pulls and no hards drop off. EC confirms the carnage. Did DH just drop off the C* list as fast as we found ourselves on it? Had I known that was possible I certainly wouldn't have shelled out $24.99 this morning to CS. Well I guess I'll keep pulling until his March 2012 hards come off...

Was he previously C*?

 

Yeah, we started pulling around the 13th of last month, me a couple days earlier than him. We both immediately got chopped twice in Feb, so yesterday we both had softs starting 2/28. Now he still does, but I got C* again.

Under personal information, EQ has inexplicably changed his current address to an old address in North Carolina. I backtracked and confirmed that the correct GA address was on the early EC pulls. He will, I'm certain, be C* on the day that the axe falls on NC. I wonder if I had noticed yesterday, whether an address dispute would have caused C* to skip right over him.

 

Hm: potential tactic for people who can't get enough pullers... pick a creditor who reports right after C*. Sign up for online statements. Change from an A state to a W state after C*. Extra week granted. Probably more trouble than it's worth.

That is a good idea right there! You might want to try that next month if you run short on time!

Theory: C* happens at night, since my pulls on the C* date have always been wiped out. Therefore, NC gets C* tonight.

 

Experiment: I just disputed the NC address with EQ and specified GA as the correct address. Results? TBD....

There's a thread related to this from a few years back, the individual doing the dispute got skipped over on the C*. Others got chopped anyway when they tried.
