The Master Equifax C* Choppage Dates - Work in Progress Thread

I wonder if we'll get some reports of April 10th choppage, to match the 18th-20th chops of last month:

 

 

 

I backdoored twice yesterday on EQ, I had not been chopped, I was chopped on the 10th. When I pulled a backdoor this morning I saw I'd been chopped.

I'm noting yours as being chopped on the 9th since your 10th and 11th pulls are still there.

I thnk it's easier to say the chop happened on the 9th, so people can count the 10th and onward in planning B* strategy.

Did you backdoor often?

 

If that's the case, the worst case is they will only let you order report by phone, and you'll have to talk to someone to unlock your online access.

I have a new mailing address and Equifax is now sending me to CSC Credit to dispute. Is there a backdoor there?

Just wanted to chip in:

 

Just checked my EQ softs via backdoor, and I can confirm a C* on 4/09, including the 9th itself.

 

Back down to 15 softs. And using three pullers that all tap EQ, it'll be another 23 days, which will be May 1st or 2nd...just in time to C* us again.

Don't backdoor unless you KNOW you are being chopped.

Doing a backdoor can get you on the chopping list.

The two are almost mutually exclusive because

1) Re-insertions usually occur on TransUnion reports

2) Choppage only occurs on Equifax reports (except for cb_opus)

 

Having a re-insertion says nothing about whether you were chopped.

Keep pulling on Equifax, if after 85 pulls, bumpable inquries are still there, you've been chopped.

Shoot, just read back. I totally missed that C* had occurred early this month and already went by. Well, FWIW, I got B* on 4/11 so I guess I escaped the C* train one more pass. Good luck to all.
