I have called the building they listed as there address (Two Penn Center Plaza, Suite 200 Philadelphia, PA 19102), building management

had not heard of them, so they switch my call to suite 200 where i was told no company by the name Anacott Financial are in that suite

I looked up UK Office address 72 High Street, Haslemere, Surrey GU27 2LA, and was a house in the middle of no where. i call there office

twice and spoke to the same lady but in 2 different department.I can find no info onthe company Deutschland Financial Services or Anacott Financial which does not

come from there site. for a company to off been open for 5 years to have no infomation nor are they listed with BBB, seems fishy to me. most of the information i found about Anacott Financial are from forms that quote there web site.

Has anyone recived there card yet?

I called them the other day and they said my card was sent out on sept 16 and i won't recive it until 30th of sept I think that's alittle long to wait this whole process took 1 month. If I don't get it I already disputed it with my cc.

Hi,

Have you received your card yet? I also applied with them and was told my card was mailed September 16th as well.

Posted

My boyfriend applied and they charged his bank $99 plus .79 International Fee and $1.50 ATM FOREIGN service fee???

I believe this will end up as a prepaid Master Card....If so he won't be a happy camper........

Not yet. I was told I should receive mine between September 30 and October 5th. I guess they send them third class mail or bulk mail. That's why it takes so long to receive them. I read online that third class mail shouldn't contain any personal information so it doesn't sound like they should be mailing them this way. I've e-mailed a couple of times to see what type of card I am going to receive, I was told a MC on the phone. I also asked if Anacott actually issues the card and if it's going to be a prepaid debit card. No reply back though. Big surprise

Im wondering, as are others probably, if you DO get your card...where can you use it?

According to Anacott, you are supposed to be able to use the card anywhere just like a regular credit card. My card is supposedly going to be a mastercard. You can't do cash advances at this time though.

hey has anyone received their card yet? i wanna give them a try but im really skeptical i read on rip off report they were a scam and the "satisfied customers" were spammers so idk i won't get one until i hear someone has actually received their card?

I was told I would receive my card by October 5th at the very latest. I have received nothing to date. This really doesn't come as a big shock from what I've been reading online about this company. I sent an e-mail to Anacott for some answers. We'll see if it gets answered.

Well, I am new to this forum and I was also scammed by Anacott! I made some dumb credit mistakes in college and now I am paying heavily for it. I work at a restaurant part time (as a server) so paychecks suck (excuse the crude language)! I have to pay $150 to Sallie Mae, $60 to AT&T, and a couple hundred to see my g/f every month (long distance relationship, i know I know, thats a lot of money but i love her).So I thought I would get this card to help improve my credit and better my chances of getting a decent apartment when I do land a good job. I signed up on Sept 14th. Today is Oct. 7th (the day Anacott said i would receive the card. No card. No credit. I am upset! I made a dispute claim with my bank but i doubt they can do anything. sigh

You can dispute the charge with the credit card you used to sign up with Anacott Financial. This is what I had to do since I never received my card either. I've read on different sites where very few are receiving this card. I am going to file the proper complaints.

They now have Anacott Financial is not a lending institution under the Visa/MC logos. This must be something new because in my approval e-mail it stated it was an Anacott Financial credit card. This is kind of deceptive.

Yeah, I saw that. There is a You Tube video now by Nerd Wallet about Anacott Financial. It points out the discrepancies with their website. I watched it this morning and it's pretty interesting.

if your not a troll from anacott financial who posted this the first day you joined this forum to post something to try to make this company look or seem legit be very careful all or most of the criticisms against this company can be verified

also if something is too good to be true it usually is fee harvester cards like first premier have to make money to make up for losses due to the fact they face a high risk of there card holders defaulting based on there credit history and score the fees this so called company (which is named after a scam company in the wall street movie) are much to low to offset any losses by the large credit lines they say they will give out

if you and your sister are really going to reapply do it one at a time after (and if ) one of you get the card then the other one might try

Here's something that came out of left field today. I received a call from a supervisor from Anacott today. I haven't tried to contact them in awhile. I received my money back and have filed complaints against them. This "so called" supervisor told me I should receive my card by Wednesday. I started laughing and said "yeah right". He tried to assure me it was true but I don't buy it one bit. All evidence points to scam. I was originally supposed to get my card by the 5th. He said his supervisor came in today and had a meeting with them. Supposedly, the "card creation" department is working non stop and people who should have gotten their cards by the 5th will all have them by Wednesday...hahahahaha! Just had to share this for a good chuckle! :clapping:

well it might be shippiong a lot of pepole on other complaint board say they get a prepaid debt card with nothing loaded on it instead of the $1500 credit card they paid for

I didn't realize other people were getting the prepaid debit cards too. I know

someone on here posted that is what they received. Nothing with this company

surprises me and I should have never applied for it. I did do the necessary steps

to protect myself. There has been a positive side for me, I was able to apply

through my bank for a real credit card. I was approved with a good credit line.

This came after checking my credit scores and reports and noticing that my credit

score was way higher than I thought. I started to rebuild my credit a few years

ago with the Orchard Bank and Capital One Cards. I just charged a little each month

and paid the balance off when I got the statement. This seemed to have worked

because my credit score went up over 100 points in the last year. I just don't

want to see others fall for the Anacott scam and jeapordize their identity like I

was dumb enough to do.

Dear K******************

Thank you for activating your Anacott Financial Credit Building, Credit Card. You now have $1700 amount of available credit towards a wealth of information on building or rebuilding your credit. Additionally, this card will report monthly to your credit report as an open and active revolving credit account. This will allow you to build positive credit each and every month so that you will soon be able to become eligible for other credit cards in the near future.

Dont use it and leave a zero balance on the card. This will allow you to gain the largest point increase in the shortest amount of time.

Yes I too received my card today. However, it was NOT the MC or VISA that was promised. The card is not usable anywhere. It has no raised imprinting and absolutely blank on the back and certainly no place to sign the card - as the previous poster referenced. My letter actually states that -

"You were approved for our credit CONSULTING credit card with a credit limit of $1800. This card will allow you access to our professional credit consultants that will help you rebuild your financial future."

No where during the process does it say ANYTHING about a different card other than a CREDIT CARD. There are no references to an ALTERNATIVE form of credit with this company. I just checked the website again after activation to see if any other disclosures appeared.

I too activated the card. It only states that I am eligible to PURCHASE THRU ANACOTT "The Credit Building Techniques Package" for $599 OR to consult a credit repair expert at $50 per hour. And thats it!

They also state that I can leave my card at a ZERO balance and that will help show in my credit report as an open active account, because apparently they report to the 3 reporting credit bureaus. This is supposed to help BUILD your credit back. But this remains to be seen. I have a legal entity monitoring my account now that it is activiated. We will be looking for ANY charges on this account - which should be ZERO as I will not be using any of the services they offer. They will be reported and sued if there is even one cent of interest, participation fee or monthly usage fees, etc. After careful scrutiny of their terms the balance should remain at zero.

I feel foolish for having fallen into this situation with this company and it is absolutely shameful for other human beings to be involved in this kind of scam. As an earlier posted noted, there are alot of people out there trying to rebuild credit. I am certainly one of them. I can dispute this charge with my credit card company - I certainly do work hard for every cent I earn but this has defiantely been a lesson learned. I thank everyone who has taken the time to post on this company and I hope all these posts will help others before they too give away there hard earned money.
