It's subprime. Grace period = 0 days...which means you get charged interest anytime you have a balance (if you buy something today, you start getting charged interest the next day)

Thank you as I was approved for a $300 CL. This works coming off a chapter 7 that was just discharged in November.

When I fill out the BofA pre-approval checker, I dont get any specific message stating weather I am pre-approved or not, it simply displays info on their rewards card. There is a reservation number listed toward the lower portion of the page, but I dont feel like this is significant. Anyone had this experience?

NEW Barclay Card Pre-approval / Pre-screen Link for Barclay Ring Card (soft pull):

https://www.barclaycardus.com/apply/ProactivePrescreenLanding.action?category=RING&referrerid=PROBA0413EMC

(even if your not pre-approved go to the very bottom of the screen and input your email to receive future pre-approval offers from Barclay on the page that loads after you input your info for the Soft pull)

I haven't tried it yet, but just was curious what other people thought? It gives an 8% Variable APR for life based on the Prime Rate for both purchases and Balance Transfers

Here is the link to the term an conditions: https://www.barclaycardus.com/app/japply/lp/TnCs.jsp?prodidreq=CCMPS45299&cpc=C11

Good post, Bump. Barclays, or BarclaycardUS have definitely upped their game in the U.S. in the past year. In fact, the US Airways Dividend Miles Card gets my nod for the dark horse pick of the year. I've already picked up over 55k miles with less than $4k in spending. Other ones to keep an eye out for are their Arrival Card and their Lufthansa Miles & More card.

I was able to get 2k on a Barclays reward today. My Fakos are 608, 659, 609. I filled out the one that say's credit is "average". Said they needed 10 days to process..looked at my Transuion score and it dropped 10 pts!. I was crushed.

Happy ending was black2002ls recommended me calling the backdoor line and after just answering a couple of questions i was able to get approved!!! Made my Monday thats for sure...

The above link that creditmmax posted is only for the Barclay Ring. This link https://www.barclaycardus.com/apply/ProactivePrescreenLanding.action screens for all barclays cards. I have only been able to get recommended offers so far.

I just tried that, and got this response "Based on your information, these products might interest you." then it lists Arrival, Rewards, and Ring, none of which I am familiar with.

What does that mean? It doesn't say I'm preapproved for any, just.. what it says above. I already have two Barclay cards in good standing, the US Airways MC and the Travelocity Amex.

Anyone know?

Every time I get a preapproval from CreditOne in the mail I rip it in half and toss it. Why walk into subprime willingly? Besides, there's the BBRZMC for that, last I knew. :D

They said they couldn't approve me, with my one negative from 2006 and my 790 credit score, lol

It is ok, I have great credit and they didn't approve me either since I have "too many recent inquiries", which is 2.

Count me in the Contour club too!

I'm not too surprised by it, only wanted to get on their radar anyway for future offers figuring this lands in a prospective customer list somewhere.

The Chase pre-approval gives the inerest rate you are pre-appoved for (rather than the card range) when you are pre-approved. It said 13.99 for the Freedom for both me and my wife and that is what each of us got when we e pulled the trigger. (25,000 cl for me and 13,000 for her). Other ones like US Bank above seem to just give the card range.
