And clearly you are much higher on her calling list than I am. I'll be watching for your update Monday.

For reference, are you a rebuilder? BK? Old Baddies? Just curious for comparison sake.

Does anyone know if they check Chex's or EWS?

Chex is affirmative.

Jamie has called me 5 times but, by the time I get off work they are closed so, I shot her a email to let her know that & she is going to get back with me to let me know of a day that she will be in later than usual so, she can talk to me. I thought that was nice of her & I have never had any banking institution call me that many times to see how things are going so far. For that matter, I only got 1 call from Navy, they were the only other CU or Bank to try to contact me.

Jamie has called me as well but I simply ignore the phone. I will call her when I am ready to speak to her. Its weird... them calling me. Making me think I did something wrong, or they are going to close my account or something. I dont like it.

Jamie suckered into making me do an INQ when it was clear from underwriting that i wouldnt have gotten approved at this time.

I get my mail from the mailman today & there is a letter from ELFCU and it's from Patti Harmon. No actual letter or anything like that, just 6 business cards. I was like huh ?

I'm not worrying about the BT rate of the card. I wondered what's the minimum score to get approved for the card.

Yup, just coming here to say the application link is live.

Got the last judgement off my EQ this week so I'm very tempted but I've said so many times no new cards until fall since I have SO many new cards and I want to get a good six months on most of them.

I'm VERY interested in seeing what kind of approvals people get though.

Elfcu card app system is up and running online....Got the 7-10 day message, not looking good! Equifax score around 600, BK in Nov 2011...Since BK 15,000 car loan with wifey co-signing, 6,000 NFCU rewards card, 900 firestone and the usual Cap 1 and Orchard toys. Paying balances on or before due date, only card currently with a balance is the Cash rewards card. 50k per year income not including spouse.

This might warrant a call tomorrow to see if it's a decline??

I saw they have both Platinum Rewards Visa and Platinum Visa Signature. I wonder what is the minimum score to get approved for Platinum Rewards Visa Signature Card.

I will probably wait for the ELF call... none of this 30 day nonsense.

I also wonder if they are stalling on approvals for online apps since they are just rolling this out. I would imagine they will be manually checking apps against what their system would normally auto-approve to make sure it's working correctly.

I wonder how many days the credit card app is live until ELFCU locks the gates due to the "CB effect". :P

I believe ELFCU already experienced that with the memberships, so they may be ready.

The first two "features" are interesting....

Entire monthly payment applied to your highest interest balance first
CARD act, anyone?

No interest charged on your interest
It's kind of hard to do otherwise since even a 2% minimum payment will exceed the monthly interest with even their highest rate (17.99%).

The BT offers aren't very enticing either. 0% for 6 months with a 3% fee

I'm not saying I won't apply (undecided at this point) but if I do I would probably only accept it if they offered a decent limit. I don't see this being a primary rewards earner or BT card. This seems like a run-of-the-mill CU card.
