I had a BK discharged in 07, and currently have a Cap 1 card, HSN (WFCB), and Orchard (all zero balance) and I'm AU on hubby's Chase and HH Bank cards and Nordstrom...and no bad items since the BK...do I have a chance at getting this one?

UPDATE: Applied in-store today...Approved for WM Discover $1200 CL...They gave me a printout to be used for any purchases I made today. I took advantage of the "Spend $100 the same day you are approved, get a $20 credit on your first statement" :yahoo:

I realized that I have enough information to call the Walmart TU FICO TU08 since it uses the FICO 08 scoring, which ignores AU accounts:

2012-01-27 myFICO TU98 747

2012-02-19 Walmart TransUnion FICO 679 (No recent account activity, AU account not factored in)

Hi Bob,

How does that square with FICO's claim it still counts AUs for the 08 score?

see, for instance,

"n July 2008, FICO announced that they reversed their decision and would continue to count authorized user accounts from their new FICO 08 scoring formula. Authorized user accounts are counted in current FICO credit scores, although the company has added additional features to block the impact of piggybacking services"

Could the Walmart score be a custom score? Just curious if you have a theory.

Nope, the TU98 was 747 for my AU, taking into account a 12 year-old BofA AmEx.

Citi and Discover both cited 660 for their Experian FICOs, so I assume those were FICO 08 also.

The plan is to get her into PSECU, then DCU, and I'll be able to compare all 3.

I think what FICO is saying is that spouses and children still benefit from AU relationships.

My current subject is not related to me at all.

Down to 795...boo.

I need to get back in the 800s. It is all direct loan's fault since they changed their reporting, I have been down.

If I can only get into the 700's...:aggressive:.

Paying off a few balances so we will see and waiting for a 17 year backdate from Amex to report.

Here's to 800's in 2013 !! :glare:

I'm unchanged at 825.

My experiment went from 679 to 686.

How does one become one of BobWang's experiments?

Nowadays you have to actually live with me. :P
