Hello everyone!!! I have been working verry hard over this year reading and using many tips from this WONDERFUL:yahoo: website. I have went from the mid 500's to the mid 600's now. I am still in the process of rebuilding my credit. This page has been a blessing to me!! I had to become a member after months of reading and experimenting. I have learned so much from all of the posts. I recieved a $100 increase on my Orchard Bank card that I've had since 3/2008. I would have never asked had it not been for all of the posts of information. Recently I acquired a Chase freedom & Chase Saphire by calling the recon number i found here and was accepted.

I do have a question or rather a request for help!! I have a medical collection from Capio Partners, they have given me pure Hell. I have tried to dispute, send PFD, and i was talking to them on the phone with the same request. They contacted me in May/July. We agreed that i would make payments on this hospital bill for $1890 and the rep said she would hold account from reporting to CRA. I was to make a payment on 7/20, but they reported it on 7/16 a collection to EX & TU. I have delt with supervisors and managers over the phone with no AVAIL. I sent letters to CRA to verify and the CO verified. They flat out refuse to delete only update and settle for $950. A rep told me that they could no longer delete this account because they have a contract with CRA and could only update. While I was on the phone, the rep pulled TU to verify if they were on my credit,( which dropped my score 8pts for hard inquiry).

 

Can anyone please help me. I know i made some mistakes with CO, Im at a lost.

My plan is to purchase a home within the next year. I have been told that they dont consider Medical collections, but it's still hurting my credit score.

I have begun the journey to mine and my wifes credit repair. Hers is worse then mine,(just saying.. ha!). We sought out an agency to do it for us but after reading the forumns I believe I can take care of this ourselves..thank you for all the information here and I will keep you updated on my progress!

I just want to thank you, the admins and mods at CB for keeping this amazing site alive and full of relevant information. I just joined CB in the last couple of weeks and have poured through the information. I have followed PsychDoc's Triaging, Whychat's medical/hipaa and Centex & Cprems TFC information. I know this might not seem much but after sending out my notices on 3/16 I have already had 3 baddies removed. I can't tell you how thankful I am for finding you all here at CB. I felt trapped and embarrassed about my credit and now I am taking a stand and fighting back. Words cannot express my gratitude...
