I also didn't realize NFCU's BillPay was so sucky.

 

She closed her BofA account when she got into Navy.

 

I told her to ask BofA if they could re-open it.

 

Yes, but it would require another Experian hard inquiry.

I haven't used their billpay much but I think I remember hearing it is pretty good.

 

I don't think they would freak out on recent EX inqs for membership.

 

They have no Chexsystems inq. Neither does USAA but Alliant does.

She's worried she'll get into trouble with that $4k Citi Forward.

 

She asked me:

 

"Do I have to pay interest on $4,000 even if I don't used the card?"

Citi credit cards are not offered as a payment destination.
