I'm positive they said oncology. Mainly because I'm sleeping in the oncology icu.

The doctor will have more info in the morning, no one seems to want to say anything yet. Which is annoying me. I'm hearing all types of numbers and they all sound bad. Sonething that's supposed to be a 20, is a 3... All types of ishtty things. She's sleeping now.

Thanks, all.

That is the worst, I know, when they talk amongst themselves and yet refuse to give you any information. I am still praying it is all a mistake and they are overreacting. I have seen it happen before.

Prayers and positive thoughts, G. Hope you get some answers soon.

Dude. Me too. I'm about to lose my mind. I suck at being patient, and I've had alllllll night to practice. She's been sleeping, so I'm just... Sitting here. Freaking iphone with its crap battery had to be charged twice. Bored. Annoyed. Tired. I can't figure out how to open the blinds in the room. I'm so very close to snapping.

Giraffy, :( I wish I lived in SO CA so that I could support you and your family in any way that you needed. Please know that I am keeping all of you close in my thoughts and I am going to tell my brother who has an over 3k church congregation in Dayton, Ohio and they will pray for your daughter at all the many gatherings and services they have, and this won't be a one time thing either, they will keep on praying for her.

I can only imagine how scared you and your dh must be and wondering what to expect. If she does have cancer, I don't mean to jump the gun, but I've heard of parents immediately conceiving another child to get the cord blood from the sibling. That may be something you might want to consider immediately. Did you do cord blood banking with your daughter? I would imagine most parents don't, we didn't. But if you did you have that as an option.

We are here for you, Giraffy. You have all of us thinking about your little girl and praying for her.

Still praying. Been there, done this. Which kind? Message me here or FB if you need to.

Also check here: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society They actually provided us with some financial support for parking and covered some of the chemo costs.

ETA: If the hospital is far from home, you also might want to look into the Ronald McDonald house. We're close enough to a medical center that we never had to use them, but I've heard good things.

OMG.

G, I'm in tears. I have a personal hatred for leukemia, and I hate that I have another person to add to my roster for the Light the Night walk. I pray that next October I am walking in Baby's honor as a survivor.

*hugs*

Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Oh Giraffy, I'm utterly and completely heartbroken to hear this. I will keep all of you constantly in my prayers.

She is going to beat this, I know it in my heart and soul.

I...speechless.

I decided to check in on my way to work, and now I'm crying. I don't understand why Chocolate Goodness things happen to good people.

I will continue to pray, and if you need anything, you have my number.

=(
