Be careful though - I settled on a few account and just this last year have heard from new COs that bought the written off balance and want money. Pain in the butt to find the settled in full letters (yes I should have kept them). I agree, it is nice to be out from under the debt, but when collectors start calling again it sucks.

Yep, I've started to get calls from creditors again. Isn't there a way to get them to stop calling?

Thanks again Breeze, even though sometimes it might be (I'm guessing) difficult to be patient while going through details and points of view, it's in reading those differences that I learned something.

He's not really looking for an answer. Once his posts were no longer moderated, he was posting links to a referral site, trying to make money by stealing ad space here.
