Joe.........After downloading the new spreadsheet something has changed in Excel and not only can't I enter any data in the new spreadsheet, I can't do anything with ANY Excel spreadsheet that I have................All I get when I access any of the Excel spreadsheets on my XP based computer is the "PLUS" sign, which effectively renders all of my spreadsheets "Read Only"...........Do you have any idea what's making it do this ?

I can't enter anything on the old CC spreadsheet or the new one.................Need Help, please. Thanks, Tax :offtopic:

I've never seen that before! Makes no sence, but we'll get it worked out!

1- Do you have macros enabled in excel? If so to what setting?

2- Have you tried deleting the sheet? If so does that fix your other sheets?

1/2008 #NAME?

it must be me, i am using openoffice.org CALC, had no probs with the last one. i will just ignore those columns. i have tried everything. IT IS A GREAT TOOL. thanx so much for doing it.

Yea, i may be open office not recognizing the formula.

Thanks again Nyrfann, I love it

As for OO

I mostly use Open Office and this is the best I could come up with:

Highlight R7 and change to

 =IF(P7=0;"";YEARFRAC(P7;TODAY();0))

Then pull the box down to R 106

Again only in Open Office and only for somewhat experienced users.

Need another one for time since cli

Highlight T7 and change formula to:

=IF(S9=0;"";MONTHS(S9;TODAY();1))

Then pull the T7 box down to T106

And yeah sorry you have to unlock the sheet to do it.

Hi Taylor, Thanks for the tips on OO, as I've never used it before I cannot give advise on it.

Hope you are enjoying the sheet!

Ok, now as long as i put in the date as e.g. 08/01/07, it will come out as .9, which i guess is what i want. appreciate everyone's help.

Ok I did these and it changed it to 2.6 which is correct. But when I highlight R7-R106 (which turns them blk) and re-enter the code in the box it leaves the others saying #MACRO and doesnt give a date for the other TL. But if I go and try to do them indiv. it changed them all to 2.6, what the heck am I doing wrong.

If you had excel I could tell you but since you are using OO I have to ask Talor to assist if he could.

Joe........Deleted the new SS.............Downloaded again...............Now, it seems to be working.........Whew ! Thanks !

(That was strange..........) The issuer, or first column, seems to allow less characters on one line than the old..........Had to change card description to allow for one-line use...........The new sheet is asking for a "value" in column "M"........I always PIF.........can I suppress the prompt for "value" in this column ? Thanks, Tax

You can do 1 of 2 things:

1- Hide column "m"

2- Put 100% in L2

As for needing more space in a cell, you can just expand the cell. I'm sure you know this.

I'm sorry, you won't need to reenter the code. You put it into R7 then drag down, then you just need to left click. It should be blank if there's no date entered to it's left. Then you can check a few boxes just to make sure the formula stays the same (other than the P and R #s).

I think it's great. I love how the "last cli in months" changes to red when it's 6 or more.

Thanks for helping, but its still not working. Im not going to worry about it. <_<

I guess that's the default date format. Open Office seems much more picky about date formats than Excel. Other than that it's basically the same.

Just want to say I LOVE THIS SHEET!!!

Thank you for creating it and sharing.

I will add my suggestion, dont know if you could do it, but

I wouldnt mind seeing a column that states how many days its been since last payment. I have had company's come back and say they never got the payment, when i know they did, but it would be nice to have somewhere to pull up and say i made payment x amount of days ago, and not have to look it up everywhere else.

Also, do you have one for the installment loans or is there a way to input those in without messing up the utilization?

Thank you!

I have what may be the dumbest question about this s/s. Where it says "Payment Option 3.0%....if i pay that amount plus the interest will my util. go down by 3.0%? I am assuming that is how it works

I am still working on an installment sheet, I am trying to incorporate it with this one so it's taking some time.

I do like your suggestion, I'll keep that in mind when i create a new version but that won't be for some time....sorry!

With no additional spending and the addition of interest then yes.

Keep in mind, the 3 cells that have percentages in them can be changed to any payment amount you want.
