No C* in NC this morning even though the spreadsheet has me as the 22nd. I'll check again tomorrow morning to see if it happens later in the day.

You'll be chopped to the 22nd, but won't see it till the 24th.

Thanks Bob. I didn't realize there was a delay between the two.

Hi I am a newbie here and learned the tricks from a friend but recently I got C* so looking for help and found this forum. I read a lot of great info and would like to follow up on this post.

I am also in CA and on the 20th or 21st I got C* from 7x confirmed soft to now only 1x. However I was able to B* 6 out of 10 hard with 3 recent Chase ones left and a one and half year old mort inq still sticking. I have been hitting daily with USAA, EIDT and EQ at last to count my softs.

So my question is is it true that once I got C* I will be C* again by EQ since now I am on their radar? Should I stop pulling with EQ to avoid future C* and is there another daily pull I can use other than the three? Also why mort inq stick around no matter what, just curious.

I have yet worked on B* TU, is there anything I can achieve at the same time when I am B* EQ, any daily pull I can use to B* TU?

Thanks very much in advance for any help, sorry for so many questions. Please feel free to PM me if you like, anything helps and I appreciate your time. Have a great evening.

I am in Ca, I was chopped on the 20, I had 67 confirmed soft, 5 unconfirmed and 7 hard. After being chopped I am down to 25, I am using 4 daily pullers, How can I avoid being chopped?

I believe once you are on the chopping block you don't come back off of it. It seems just pulling USAA and not pulling Equifax can keep you off the block, but if you pull with Equifax that's it.

Hi Moderator, I have earlier submitted a reply for this thread and I think it's under review. Just wonder how may I track the posts that I sent out so I know whether they get approved or not? Thanks.

C* gnomes visited NJ yesterday... right on schedule.

Immediately commencing B*. Should be done by Sept 11 this time. Got issues straightened out with EQ/TU so I can pull again just in time for maximum B*

They Got me yesterday here in NC. :sorry:

I saw the net effect today: down from about 86 to 7. I did knock off all of my existing inquiries though, so I can't complain. I'd have to pull all 3 every day to bump that one off, so I think I will wait until November based on the next 35 day window to bump that and any other inquiry off.

Seems like many others got C*, not only in CA :( There's a very small window until next C* in Sept, I have around 12 softs now, wonder if I can make B* if I keep pulling with the three daily until next C*.

Also looking for help on my question, anything helps, thanks very much for your comment. Good luck on B* :)

Does the two day delay hold true even for weekends? My C* day was the 23rd (TX) so I'm not sure if I'll see it on the Saturday the 25th. I've never been C*'d before nor have I ever daily pulled or cared until now! :)

If that's the case it seems I'm still not on the C* block. If that holds true, It'll be stupid easy to get all my non-stickied inquiries off this month as I'm sitting at 74 or so, all more recent than my last hard pull.:yahoo:

Thanks for the info!

TX is not confirmed to be Saturday, it could be Sunday.

I'm keeping it at Saturday for now, until TX residents have conclusive proof it should be moved to Sunday.

I suppose this will only add to the confusion (which is probably why Bob left it out). But...

Strictly speaking the chop dates and days of the week only apply if you are in the Eastern Time Zone. Otherwise the chop occurs:

CT - 11pm the previous day

MT - 10pm the previous day

PT - 9pm the previous day

HST - 6pm the previous day in summer, 7pm the previous day in winter

Arizona - 9pm the previous day in summer, 10pm the previous day in winter

Unless you pull in the evening the chart will appear to be correct.

C* showed in GA on the 23rd.

39 to 24 softs.

Are there any additional beside the normal 3 pullers for those without Amex?

Have 10 hards and doesnt look like I will make it before next chop.

Wait till you have 85 e-mails dated after your most recent hard inquiry.

I'm sorry Bob... I'm a little confused by this statement.... Disclaimers first, I have never tried to B* EQ before. However I was under the impression that this process worked like FIFO (First in first out), regardless of a kind inquiry it was?

Scenario # 1 -- Lets say I had 5 hard pulls on Day 1. I then pull for 80 days on USAA. Meaning i now have 5 hards + 80 Softs. So in theory my next soft pull on USAA will result in all 1st hard falling in off?

Scenario # 2 -- Lets say I had 5 hard pulls on Day1. I then pull for for 79 straight days on USAA, so in theory I am now only 1 soft pull away from B* the first hard. BUT now I get the itch and app for a CC resulting in a hard on EQ. Meaning I now have 5 hards + 79 Softs +1 hard. Does this reset my B* clock back to Zero? Meaning I will have to go for another round of 79 soft pulls to see that 1st hard go away?

Hope I haven't confused you yet :P

Chances are high u r on the chop block. Most are. Meaning, you have to create 85 soft pulls in about no more than 4-5 weeks time else wasting ur time. That's about 3-4 pulls per day required to see B*!

Did u see if ur are on the chop block by looking @ ur EQ report?

Well, I'm in Texas and still haven't been C* as of 8:30AM CST. I did however B* my first two inquiries ever! So excited! I'll keep an eye out for chopchop tomorrow.

AA, if you can confirm TX C* tomorrow, I'll move TX to Sunday.

TB, my attention span is about 3 sentences.

I say 85 because if all the hards are stickies, they won't count, and you won't know that till after 85 newer softs.

Hi Bob, I saw your answers for some of the questions, just wonder if you may help. If I was C* recently, does it mean that I am in C* block from now on or if I stop pulling with EQ and just use USAA then I will be safe?

You mentioned looking into my CR to see whether I am in C* block, just wonder how to check that?

If by just using USAA will allow me to avoid C* from now on but it takes longer then I would rather pull everyday for 3 months then getting C*. Thanks very much for your comment and help
