I will continue to exercise (like I have been doing for the past 218 days) and watch what I am eating ( as I did for the past 803 days). I lost a total of 52lbs in the last 2+ years and want to lose another 15-20 by the 2012 year end.

I will continue to predominantly drink water and sparingly use the caffeinated, sugary and HFCS (hig fructose corn syrup) beverages such as:

1. Pepsi, Coke, SODA

2. Vitamin Water, Propel (these "waters" have flavoring, you drink more and its not productive nor cost effective to ever get these)

3. Red Bull, Monster, Rockstar, Starbucks *bleh

4. COFFEE. Less coffee for me in 2012.

5. Juices from the juice aisle (Motts, Tropicana, Minute Maid, Ocean Spray. Its all sugar, people. All of it!)

I will drink more water, water, water. Cutting down on Starbucks this year.

Also, eating more protein. i find that eating straight block of cheese for mid-day protein is an excellent move. I have to adapt to night schedule for DD, but still, Cabot Smooth Sharp Cheddar at Walmart is stupendous at providing protein energy.

That and its either the gym, P90X, or other assorted work-out DVDs for an hour a morning in 2012.

I've been off my routine for the last month or so, so once I get back to NC, I'll be right back at it. I'm still having a lot of trouble with my right foot, so I'll be off to the doctor again. In the meantime, I'm finally cleared for heavy lifting after my second surgery, so I'm going to start.

I'm excited, because the man is coming home (early, maybe!) and he wants to get into the same food routine with me. YAY!

I have to get back on track too. Now that I'm home with the kids during the day, I can incorporate them into my exercise routine. Go for walks etc and I will have time to cook healthy again.

A friend of mine posted this blog today: Three years ago...

In 3 years, she has lost 70+ lbs by eating moderately, not on any restrictive diets, and starting moderate exercise on the Wii Fit. Today, she's a Boston qualifying runner, and has been sponsored by Brooks.

I started with baby steps. I didn't want to start anything that I couldn't maintain. I didn't want to go on a short term weight loss/diet plan, and I didn't want to do anything drastic. I started exercising five to six days a week for 30 minutes a day (in the beginning it was almost all on the Wii Fit). I made baby steps in improving my diet as well. I stopped eating after 7pm. I started watching portion sizes. I added fruits and veggies to my diet (which I was eating almost none of at the time). I cut out soda and almost all liquid calories and started drinking water for the first time. I chewed gum when I was feeding the kids so I didn't pick off of their plates. Baby steps.

Awesome... its always those baby steps that help us.

I chew gum right after my breafast and spit it out before lunch.. 3+ hours..

When I see any birthday coming at work, I chew the gum after lunch, that way I can avoid the cake. But not always :-(

2 hours, 32 minutes non stop today. Soon, I'll be in marathon territory.

You are talking about running, right? ;)

   You made me spill my coke!

Actually, believe it or not, the other insinuated activity of sexual activity is an excellent way to stay healthy!

Particularly the marathon sessions of length

Seriously though, though that, running and swimming are the best modes of exercise one can do, i will likely be stepping up to the rigors of a P90X in the morning. I have begin cutting down on the caffeination and sugars, that means Step 1 has begun of no more Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks choice on way home from driving DD to/from work. If P90X proves to be too friggin' hard, then a workout DVD (perhaps one with Sidge, or someone else.. anything but Tae-Bo. I would select an actual exercise or perhaps a beginner Yoga DVD over Zumba or Tae-bo or Turbo Jam, more work out less dance) and im inclined to give Yoga a look. If P90X leaves me feeling old.. which I am.

Diet is also important. I have had luck eating salads (i will always put some type of Italian dressing on it. Low fat is ok, the dressing isnt the best thing but plain salad? I cant do it) but it takes skill to prepare without making a mess *dressing. So, i will increase the amount of healthy things i eat, and decrease the stuff i know i can do without (Coffee/sugar stage has begun. Next are snacks, and unnecessary things such as things you would eat out, or stop and get at checkout like Kit-Kat chocolate or M&Ms.) Im eating more cheese, more protein (eggs,) making sure to maintain the regular supplement of Vision Essentials (?)/Multivitamin/generic Fish Oil supplement (soon to be Omega Red if i can find it, or get to GNC.) Right now im having some 2% Milk (1% or Skim i cannot do) and im making some hardboiled eggs. Breakfast suggestions as well as lunch and dinner suggestions are welcome.

I will probably visit the GNC today, the last non-weekend day of 2011. Its in the mall. Maybe get something (Omega Red? Heard good things) small on credit. My quest to get as healthy about my body as my credit in 2012 has begun!

By the way, are Eggland's Best eggs really better than ordinary Walmart/store cheap eggs? And if so, how so? I only eat the white eggs, not the brown.

I need to get as you call it "back on the wagon" I hate the way I look, and it is all my fault, I do not blame anyone else but myself and I am the only one who can do anything about it.

I am going to run a 5k this year if it kills me. I have already started looking in my area to see when some are. I see afew for April. I think I just need to suck it up and sign up for it so I go.

Couch to 5k changed my life. Truth.

I hope it changes mine, too. I am getting started tomorrow. I re-downloaded the Couch25k app on my phone.

My only real goal for 2012 is to quit eating out when I have food at home. It is not only for my physical health but my financial health, too. I shudder at the thought of the amount of food I waste by buying groceries and then going out to pick up chinese or a burger or whatnot. Ugh. I can make that isht myself.

My only other real goal I am setting is that I am vowed to actually going to a doctor when I am sick this year. I have a bad habit of waiting until it is far too late.

Oh. And I have about 90lbs I would love to lose this year.
