I hate receipt nazis...worse than Illinois nazis.

LOL.

Like a Rash all over the Computer

I'm not sure what an Illinois Nazi looks like, but I'm pretty sure that sort of logic is why Centex isn't even able to figure out how to dispute fraud.

On the other hand, at least the subject wasn't killed like two alleged shoplifters in the US, one in December '08 and one in Feb. '09. Someone in China was beaten to death by Walmart employees recently, too.

I took walfart out of the subject line so that nobody would cry.

you are obviously NOT a fan of the Blues Brothers.

As to disputing fraud, not sure what part of your flowers you pulled that from. The fact that I opted not to litigate with two major OC's due to time considerations (all the while with the report clear of third parties and better than six figures of new credit lines) says that I must have generally been doing SOMETHING right.

:( Oh, that. I wasn't sure what you meant either. All I could think of was the Skokie incident in the 70s, but I seriously doubted that was it. But, Blues Brothers, yeah... seen it many times but not in many years and I had forgotten about those guys.

Do you ever get tired of Walmart threads? I do.

Some people have an ULTERIOR MOTIVE

WALMART can do no good...so they have to keep the bad stuff in the news

(even if they have to make it up)

or

SPIN IT

this thread is about not showing receipt; a subject that has been discussed in this subforum before.

I don't understand why someone would do that. He shouldn't have been tackled, but to "refuse to show a reciept" because "it's not required" and then to RUN... almost sounds like he's LOOKING for someone to sue.

Edit: Was talking about the second link, not the first.

One isolated incident does not make it a daily occurrence...NOW DOES IT

SLIGHTLY :)

On COPS people run all the time (and they were being pulled over for a very minor violation)

Posted

On Cops, they might be getting pulled over for speeding or running a red light... if they take off, it's usually because they have something else to hide... usually drugs.

One just had a speeding ticket they didn't pay

That's just stupid. Taking off from the cops opens you up to other, more serious charges.

And some people really don't want to go to jail...which is where you go when you have a warrant, even for something stupid like not paying a traffic ticket.

MANY, MANY parole warrants in Texas were/are actually executed following a routine traffic stop...

Never run from the cops. It is ok, however, to run from a civilian any time, and if the civilian tries to tackle you, it is assault.

Even if you have something to hide, running will only make your charges more serious.

And by engaging in a high speed chase you are putting lives in jeopardy.
