dcu will allow anyone to open a savings account regardless of chexsystems and the account does come with an ATM card. Most of the others ones that I know of are now being picky about out of state applications, so they are realy not options anymore

Hi, may I ask two quick questions regarding DCU.

- it would appear that when someone is applying only for membership and a checking account that there is no hard inquiry on any credit report ?

- regarding DCU using Equifax for savings, do you know if this results in a hard inquiry or a soft inquiry ?

Thank you! :D

I have no idea... I would venture to guess that it is not a hard inquiry. Let me see if I can find out and I will let you know
