Ford--Who do they pull?

Anyone know who Ford pulls and what kind of scores you need? Thanks.

primarily FMCC is driven by an internal score. FICO scores of whatever nature would play only a small part.

Ok, Thanks, My I have a 567 due to no active CC and a newer collection thanks to Time Warner. This goes back to 2001, but just shows up now. I have perfect car loan history, 2 paid, never late, and another never late. Just tired of my car I guess, I need something with a lil more style, I'm thinking 06 Mustang GT!

FMCC tiers are strongly driven by the LTV model.

So what does that mean?

FMCC was an EX pull in both Texas and Ohio. Not sure if it is literally a midwestern swath limitation or if that means they pull EX exclusively.

 

I will concur about the use of an internal scoring. I was told the score was somewhere north of 720 which did not match my expected EX score at the time. However, there were also multiple vehicle loans paid in full that had no negative reporting. I was not thrilled with the rate I got, but I didn't and don't expect to keep the loan long enough for the couple of points between what some banks were offering and what I got to make a difference...

 

That said, I doubt a traditional 567 with a recent derog is going to get good rates through FMCC especially on a Mustang. My guess is it might be different if you were looking at something where the dealership was anxious to get it off the lot, but you probably won't see them going to the mat on a car that sells itself.

It means that the a LOWER LOAN compared to the VALUE of the vehicle is likely to result more favorably on your behalf.
