I'd like to start a list of cards/companies ) and if possible how fast they begin reporting (at least from your experience).

Also, please list any additional steps you may have had to take to get them to report. And mention if you lived at the same address as cardholder.

My experience: Sears (don't know how long it took) Rep. to all 3

Texaco/Citibank (don't know how long) Rep. to all 3

Shell/Citibank (don't know how long) Rep. to all 3

Thanks Guys!

P.S. Anyone know of Macy's, Robinson's May Co., or Saks specifically?

Discover Card (Don't know about speed)

First USA (Took a few weeks)

ExxonMobil card (They were FAST!)

These report to all three CRAs.

These are just from my experience.

How about good ole Crapital One? Do they report AUs?

Why yes they do, and they're pretty quick (7-10 days).

Funny thing is that they report on all three CRA's for my AU, but only EQ and EX for me

I asked Eugene Cooke to report to TU for me and I got all three of my reports on Fraud Alert (and still no CAP1 on TU) for the effort.

Well that's not so good (especially since I PFBed them to request that same thing) :D

Chase: yes

AMEX: Yes - for each and every person I have added

Citibank - Yes

FUSA - Yes

Chase - Yes

MBNA - Not yet (5 months)

Does anyone know about BofA? Someone just added me to their BofA that they have had since 1977 with a 9K limit and almost zero utilization on the card.

Thanks for all the feedback guys!

Let's keep adding to the list, and while we're at it also keep mentioning which cards don't report (in your experience) I think that this information will be of huge benefit to many members, new and old.

Is that a good thing...or a bad thing?

(I'm just learning all this....I need to figure out what all these abbreviations mean!)

It's good if you want to share positive history with someone, bad if any baddies turn up on them down the road.

Anybody know about J.C. Penny's?

Also, how do you get an AU added to a pre-existing Robinsons May Co. account. We called 3 times and asked 3 dif. people in the store, and we got 6 different answers!!!! some we're saying that you'd have to start a new account, others were saying just mail a letter with:

The account holders name

account number

and name of person to add.

That seems ridiculous, anyone could obtain that info and add themselves to your account. And they told us that in the store when we were both present and they could have verified Drivers licenses etc,.

On the phone they said we had to go to the store to do it.

On the cust. serv. phone in the store they said we had to do it with a manager at the store.

The manager said that we'd have to start a whole new account for the account holders protection. Protection from what??? she wants to add me and was standing right next to me!!!

AMAZING...

I must be doing something wrong, cuz I gots nothing from all of the following:

MBNA: sent letter 29June

GE (not sure who issues them): sent letter 29June

Discover: sent letter July 22

citiBank: sent letter July 22

My wife also spoke to the csr's over the phone. I'm getting the cards (which I dont want, rip up and throw away), but I'm not getting the reporting.

Too bad, b/c the beloved wife has awesome limits and low/low/low utilization.....

For me they did to EQ and EX within 2 weeks. They said it would be all three, but haven't seen it on TU yet (6 weeks).

They said they had to have the SS# to report though.

Chase reported to EQ and EX within a couple of weeks....never showed up on TU.
