HI EVERYONE,

I need feedback on this topic. I was accepted to a medical school in England and the only forms of financial aid that they have are the TERI and MEDACHIEVER LOANS. I applied for a TERI loan with a co-signer because I realized that my credit was BAD and I was denied. What can I possibly do to fix this. My parents have offered to pay off my debts, but the personat the TERI loan company told me that even if I pay off my debts, it would not help me out because it is already derogatory on my credit report and will stay that way for SEVEN YEARS. Is this true, or does she NOT really know what she's talking about. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks

For TERI both the student and co-signer have to have flawless credit history. And smilar in regards to the MedAchiever loan, who claim to award more lee-way so to speak, are just as anal when it comes to disbursting the student loan amount.

Very curious to know what have you done in trying to pursue obtaining the med school loans? :?:
