Shouldn't be too concerned about the 1 card rule. Besides the Carnival one, the only others I wanted were: Caesers Entertainment and Apple (which I could get from Direct Merchants in the end).

I have to get rid of the discover collection (which is reporting twice) and then they said I can call back and not get another hard INQ. I only have one tradeline currently reporting and its a low crap one card.

I got the preapproval letter in the mail from Juniper last month... finally applied today online and got approved within seconds. Only $500 but hey, it's the lowest APR I've had on a credit card since my BK. Patelco also approved me the other day for $1,000 Visa, just have to send in copy of DL and SS card and paystub. And my utilization is high as crap!

Orchard is more nearer to the trash bin than ever.

I just called and spoke with a very nice rep. She said my application is still pending and they are trying to review apps as quickly as they can.

We are leaving for vacation in Oregon tomorrow for about a week so maybe I will come home to a pleasant surprise. :::fingers crossed::: :good:

What was your score and what baddies did you have? How old was the BK? Does the BK show on your report?

I don't know what my scores are. My bk is 4 years old... all positive tradelines since the BK, and it is showing on all three CRs. I haven't had any baddies since the BK, but am still showing a few IIBs, and a few public records.

Whee! I got home from a really crappy afternoon of unexpectedly having to get my daughter's glasses repaired and had an email from Juniper Bank waiting for me. I was approved for the BestWestern Gold Crown Club MasterCard with a CL of $2500. :D

Once again, thank you CB!

HMMMMMMMMM.......pleasant surprise! Applied online and approved for $3,500.But at 17.99 % even if there were no rewards, it would be a PIF card.

I'm assuming from other posters that they pulled TU where my entire report consists of 4 entries:

Paid CO Crap One
Crap One CC current, no lates (opened 11/2004 to pay above CO)
AT&T Universal MC current , no lates ( listed as AU)
paid tax lien (2003)

I have 2 inquiries(very recent, last week :clapping: ) and am awaiting my new Amex Blue and a decision on State Farm Visa

Fako 700
EQ SW Fico(?) 674

Thank You Nyrfann,

Took your advice and called to process application and was approved for $10,000. I was sure they were going to match or at least be in the same ball park as my $500 BOA or my $800 Chase.
Total shock

I think they pulled TU I will update tomorrow. Faco is 748-clean report. Chase 12/04 and BOfA(partially secured)4/05, 3 inquiries

Thanks again

Also I'd told him I had DV NICKO (NCO. He never mentioned about the BK99. He said to call back once I get rid off the 2 CA.

Just ask for recon. The rep will have a looksie and ask any questions. Answer them correctly and you're in.

Keep in mind that the reason for the utilization is my limits are very low, toy cards.

TU 707 no baddies but LOTS of new accounts and inquires. I had to explain why so much new credit, which I did. I have a balance showing of like $40 on my target card and good payment history. Everything else zero balance.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

household income? Can I include my fiance's income with mine since we live together or are they going to ask for proof?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yep household income... :)

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

IT IS NOT A CREDIT UNION that people discuss here!!!

NO PROOF REQUIRED!!!

Approved $500.00 limit 17.99% APR. My first non-credit union approval (asside from Household Bank).

I'm not totally impressed, but it's 500.00 additional credit in an available. Brings me up to 6500.00 in new tradelines since 4/01/05
